I have given my opinion on robots, what are yours?

After watching this clip, no my opinion on robots has not been altered. They are MACHINES and are not capable of being genuine; they only mimic humans and are produced with artificial emotions. I think that if it is really needed, then maybe in the healthcare system or perhaps in elderly homes, but not in public society. Technology is already difficult to try to maintain and keep up with now. For robots to be introduced to the public as a way for children to be more active or for people to communicate in distance, I truly think is unnecessary. People should stick with traditional means, and take their kids to the park instead of letting them sit in front of the television screen. Parents should be more involved and influential and not put their responsibilities on a robot or technological innovations. Robots and that particular technology can be useful, but I definitely do not want to see it in the general public.
